Early Warning in the SBA 2.0
In the European Commission's Small Business Act 2015-2020, Early Warning Denmark is referred to as a comparable national practice regarding setting up an EU-wide Early Warning platform.
In the public consultation document on the Small Business Act 2015-2020, the Commission proposes to:
"Set up an EU-wide Early Warning platform for stakeholders and experts to provide counselling to businesses in difficulties and help viable companies get past the crisis, save jobs and reduce the stigma of failure attached to bankruptcy."

The Small Business Act (SBA) is the Commission’s policy instrument to promote SMEs and entrepreneurship. The Small Business Act 2015-2010 is version number two. The first version was published in 2008.
There are four key areas of the SBA:
- SMEs’ access to finance
- SMEs' access to markets
- Reducing administrative burdens
- Promoting entrepreneurship
